Nuclear Ink is Omaha’ s first all-custom tattoo studio. Nuclear Ink Custom Tattoo first opened in the summer of 1999 located in South Omaha. In 2000, we moved to our current location just north of 72nd and Dodge Street in Midtown. We started out as a shop exclusively for custom tattoos.

We pride ourselves on being the friendliest tattoo shop that most people have ever entered. Many of our clients tell us stories about their experiences in other shops, of unfriendly or downright surly attitudes from the artists, often even a lack of respect for the clients’ ideas and input. Many of these customers tell us that they chose our shop because we were the only ones who were nice to them, then were amazed by the quality of our work. Our studio environment allows our clients to relax during their tattoo procedure, enjoying good conversation and company. Our clients come from all walks of life and we enjoy meeting different people everyday, often gaining new friends in the process.

At Nuclear Ink, we also regularly draw clients in from out of town and out of state. We have a lot of fans in the areas outlying the Omaha and Council Bluffs area, and regularly see customers from Fremont, Blair, Plattsmouth, Dennison, Glenwood, Decatur, Atlantic and all areas in between. We have customers regularly drive in from Lincoln, Des Moines, Kansas City, Sioux Falls, Wichita, and St. Louis. Omaha’ s Eppley Airport makes it easy for people to fly in from out of state. We enjoy hosting people from other states as well as some international travelers who get tattooed before returning home.

Our shop environment and procedures have been reviewed by many local health-care professionals and are found to meet or exceed those found in their offices. We meet all OSHA guidelines for our industry. We use only the highest quality tools and supplies. Our Tattoo Artists are members of the Alliance of Professional Tattooists and annually attend their Preventing Disease Transmission in Tattooing seminar. Our Studio and staff are fully State licensed.

We have been members of the Better Business Bureau and on their Honor Roll for several years. Their values and high standards have helped shape our knowledge on how to conduct our business in as honest and ethical way possible. We have always aimed to be responsible in our business practices as well as our artistry.

Nuclear Ink is involved in the community on every level. Every day we meet people from every walk of life, of every age and in every occupation. Often we watch their children grow up and come in for their own tattoos. We are active in the community and annually donate prizes and do volunteer work for many local charity fundraisers.

We look forward to working more with the leaders and people of our community, and plan to provide the highest quality service for years to come.
